Understanding the WIOA Application Process
The steps outlined on this page will guide you through Part 1 of the two-part process for getting approved for WIOA funded training. First, we will provide you with information on how to submit documentation to see if you meet the eligibility requirements for WIOA funded services. If you are approved, Part 2 will be completed to get approval to enroll in funded training.

Complete required documents

- WIOA Eligibility Application
- Grievance and Complaint Policy:
- Atlanta Regional (Cherokee, Clayton, Douglas, Fayette, Gwinnett, Henry, Rockdale)
- City of Atlanta
- Cobb
- DeKalb
- Fulton
Step 3
Gather required documents
- Citizenship & Employment
- Age/DOB
- Social Security Number
- Selective Service (Males born after 1960)
- Adult Low Income Status OR Dislocated Worker
Register on the WorkSource Georgia Portal.
Step 4
Upload completed documents to the WorkSource portal
Please upload a completed application including all the documents you needed to complete and gather. Incomplete applications will delay your ability to progress in this process.
