Urban Area Working Group [UAWG]

The UAWG group makes recommendations to the SPG and is represented by police & fire chiefs, the Emergency Management Agency directors from each of the 6 jurisdictions, Other representation includes; MARTA; the Centers for Disease Control; Grady Hospital; a senior K-12 state educational official, a senior State Public Health official; and a private sector. The UAWG provides strategic recommendations to the SPG as to how best to achieve its programmatic goals.
