Senior Policy Group [SPG]

The Senior Policy Group (SPG) serves as the governing body for the Atlanta UASI. The SPG is compromised of the chief elected officials of the six jurisdictional members and is chaired by the Mayor of Atlanta. Other members included; Director of GEMHSA, FBI and Chairman of the ARC. The mission of the SPG is to increase preparedness, prevention, protection, response, and recovery capabilities of all first responder agencies and the communities within the Atlanta UASI for all hazards, including terrorism.
